Durya will receive a JD degree after graduation to pursue a healthcare administration and law specialty before working in hospital administration. Durya recognizes the need for healthcare globally and intends to utilize her dual degree to make political policy efforts through activism, lobbying, and governmental involvement to improve the quality of care for patients in the United States and beyond. Her dream job would be to work as a health policy analyst at the World Health Organization, while also planning on running for a public servant political office to voice the problems and opinions of the greater public. In her free time, Durya enjoys spending time with her husband and family, organizing social justice movements, teaching Tae Kwon doe, and traveling the country to speak.
