Leadership Challenges

LEADERSHIP CHALLENGES

We value practical, real-world experiences as the best means for Fellows to learn, work in teams, exercise their leadership abilities and produce results. Leadership Challenges are hosted in partnership with an organization, which presents an ambiguous problem they currently face. Then, Fellows work in their multidisciplinary cohort for the remainder of the challenge to understand, create and deliver tangible solutions to the problem.

This learning strategy allows students to:

• Learn to navigate and master ambiguity
• Value the perspectives of others – from other academic disciplines, personal backgrounds, strengths
• Develop and hone their leadership style in team-oriented settings
• Practice consultation and project management by: diagnosing problems, researching, creating viable solutions and sharing them in concise ways
