Suzanne Scharer is a Customer Success Principle at Qualtrics in Salt Lake City, Utah. She manages strategic client relationships for Qualtrics, a technology company specializing in experience management. Previously, she was a Senior Manager of Transformation at Newell Brands & an Engagement Manager in Deloitte Consulting's Strategy & Operations practice. She earned her BSBA in 2006 from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business & her MBA in 2013 from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. As an Ohio State student, she was involved in Undergraduate Student Government, Sphinx Senior Honorary, and Alpha Chi Omega. She was elected Student Body President & served from 2005-2006. On the 3rd floor of the Ohio Union, you'll find the "Suzanne M Scharer Room" that overlooks the South Oval & provides meeting space for students, faculty, & staff.
Suzanne has been on the Advisory Board since 2013. She enjoys interacting with current students, particularly discussing leadership and professional / educational opportunities post-graduation. She describes her interactions with students as "two-way mentoring." Working with BLF helps Suzanne better understand the unique experiences Ohio State students are having today. She stays well connected to program alumni, mostly virtually now that her career has moved her to Utah. She presents an annual seminar on "Professional Communications" to the program's second year students.
She believes that with the real-world experience & relevant leadership programming, BLF compliments students’ in-class learning heightening their overall collegiate experience. She's seen significant personal & professional growth as students participate in the comprehensive 2-year program.
Suzanne is married to David Bartz & they reside in Salt Lake City, Utah. They love to ski, hike, bike, & take Maisy (their adorable golden retriever) on various outdoor adventures.
