After graduating from Ohio State, Charita plans on attending graduate school to earn her Ph.D. and pursuing a career in neuroscience research. During her career, she plans to give back to the community in which she was raised and plans on living in the Omaha area to do so. Charita would like to help student-athletes in an area in which many of them do not think about extensively during their careers until it is too late, which is with their health. She would like to educate student-athletes about head and brain injuries, preventative measures, as well as rehabilitation for those who would like to get back on the court or field as quickly, but safely, as possible. She would also like to educate student-athletes about their health holistically, informing them about their mental and emotional health as well as physical, so they are able to perform to the best of their abilities in all aspects of their lives.

Outside of school and student organizations, Charita enjoys spending time with family, especially during holiday seasons. She enjoys traveling, preferably to tropical areas near beaches. One fun fact is that she may be the biggest Rihanna fan you know.
