BLF December 2024 Graduates - Quinn Costanzo and Vibha Ramachandar
December 19, 2024
Can you share a transformative experience from the BLF program that significantly impacted your personal and professional development?
Quinn: The weekly speakers in cohort have impacted my personal and professional growth. Each speaker is curated to make us think about our goals from a personal and professional lens, so I have had the opportunity to dig deeper about what I value in life.
Vibha: Going abroad to Switzerland and Milan was such an amazing experience. We were truly able to see so many different aspects from the culture to how companies operated there.
How has your participation in the BLF program shaped your understanding and practice of effective leadership?
Quinn: This program has helped me understand how to lead a team as a specified leader and as a member of a team. From the team challenges, I have learned how to solve a problem by communicating with others across all disciplines.
Vibha: Being able to truly immerse myself in every part of BLF has been so rewarding. There are so many aspects that are encompassed within this program, but specifically the team challenges have shown me that you can be a leader within a group. You don't necessarily need the title to be able to lead a team effectively.
In what ways did building relationships within the BLF community enhance your growth and influence your future goals?
Quinn: Our cohort is truly filled with some of the best people I have ever met. Each individual has pushed me to become the best version of myself, and their support has helped me grow tremendously to do things outside of my comfort zone.
Vibha: The people in my cohort are some of the most intelligent, caring, and humble people I have ever met. They push me to tackle challenges and are always there for me if I ever need anything. This pushed me to take risks and grow.
What would you tell your past self the day you got into BLF?
Quinn: I would tell myself that you are so deserving of being a member of this cohort, and to trust the process of growth that occurs within the two years.
Vibha: I would tell myself that I should be so proud of myself for getting in and that there was a reason that I was picked to be a part of such an amazing cohort. I would also tell myself that it may be hard at times, but that I am going to experience so much growth in the program.
What are your plans post-graduation?
Quinn: Next semester, I will be volunteering at a nonprofit that provides free childcare for children whose parents have cancer by kickstarting their digital marketing presence, training for another marathon, studying for the GMAT, getting a puppy, and soaking up all the time I can get with my friends and family before starting my full-time job!
Vibha: I am planning on studying for my GMAT and spending time with friends!! Starting in June I am working at Nestle as part of the Sales Development program in Cincinnati.
