The Buckeye Leadership Fellows are happy to welcome four new additions to our Advisory Board. Program Director and Assistant Director, Rob Jech and Beth Johnson, are currently traveling in Washington D.C. with nine lucky Fellows to meet some of the new Advisory Board members, workshop new ideas for the program, and provide their unique perspective about their time in BLF. Here’s a little more about each of our wonderful new Advisory Board members:
Lisa Boham Egbert, MD:
Lisa Bohman Egbert, MD is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist in solo practice in Dayton, Ohio. She is a “double” alumna of The Ohio State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology followed by her doctorate from the College of Medicine. Lisa was involved in multiple student organizations as an undergraduate which included, Freshman Senate, Alpha Epsilon Delta premedical honorary, and Mirrors, Chimes, and Mortar Board class honor societies, serving as president for Mortar Board. In addition, Lisa is proud to have been selected as a member of the Homecoming Court during her senior year. Beginning in medical school and continuing throughout her medical career, Lisa has been actively involved in organized medicine. She currently serves as the District 2 Councilor to the Ohio State Medical Association and as a delegate to the American Medical Association and member of its Council on Medical Service. Lisa is the proud mom of three, all current Ohio State students. Her twins will graduate in May 2019 and her youngest is a freshman.
Bradley Egbert, MD:
Dr. Bradley Egbert is an anesthesiologist in Kettering, Ohio and is affiliated with Kettering Medical Center. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He is one of 22 doctors at Kettering Medical Center specializing in anesthesiology.
Michael Repasky:
Michael Repasky serves as Planning Manager for American Signature Inc. where he leads the implementation and execution of merchandising and organizational planning. Previous to this position, Mr. Repasky served as the Chief Operating Officer for a variety of companies such as Cuffed by Nano, TACKMA, and Atlas|Bear. In these roles, he exercised his leadership in merchandise and strategic planning, as well as his finance and operations skills Mr. Repasky spent 5 years at Abercrombie and Fitch supporting their Abercrombie, abercrombie kids and Hollister brands through financial analyst and planning positions. After graduating with a BS from The Ohio State University in Business Administration, Management and Operations, Michael Repasky spent 3 years with Sigma Phi Epsilon directing chapter services.
Michael Valo:
Michael Valo is the Managing Director of Institutional Fixed Income at the Huntington Investment Company in Columbus, Ohio. His focus is to provide public and private clients with solutions that meet and exceed investment objectives. Mr. Valo has over a decade of experience in Equity Derivatives and Alternative Investment strategies for his clients. He has been an active member of the Capital Club serving as the Chair for the Young Executive Board for 6 years, participated on the Board of Governors for 5 years, and served as a Commissioner for Create Columbus. Mr. Valo also graduated from the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Finance.
