Letter to a Mentor - Jacob Farr

“Hey Mamá?” 

How many times have I introduced a crazy plan or strange idea with

the words: “Hey Mamá?” Yet, how many countless times have

you humored me. You’ve tutored me. You’ve helped me to believe that

my wildest dreams are possible if

I will “Be intentional.” Because of what you do,

I cannot help but notice

the steppingstones you intentionally placed in my life.

Like constellations in the dark, each spark of kindness, of love, of patience pinpoints out the

parent hero, you are. At least

to me and anyone who will know you.  Could never have gotten far without your support, so

“Hey Mamá!”

you overcame so I could dream as big as I do.
